Ciaran Maginnis

Upon graduating from the University of Ulster Belfast with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Ciaran continued his studies at Postgraduate level at the University of Ulster, Coleraine, followed by a Masters at Queens University, Belfast.

He is inspired by local countryside, and enjoys capturing human emotions evoked by natural beauty. Although often abstracted, Ciaran’s work is anchored in the natural landscape, in particular fields and seascapes feature heavily in his latest works.
