Nuala Monaghan
Nuala graduated in July 2017 with a First Class Honours Degree in Illustration from the University of Ulster, Belfast. She has been passionate about drawing ever since she could hold a crayon and particularly enjoys drawing from nature, and experimenting with different methods. Her strength is working with ink.
Her latest work explores Celtic Mythology, and she held her first solo exhibition at Liverpool Irish Festival in October 2021. As part of the festival, Nuala told stories of the old gods and how they became the fairies. To read these stories and see more of her work, click here. To read the stories in Irish, click here.
